Bottle from Tesco Winchester. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is woody grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a grassy hop zesty citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, leaves, lightly caramel, lightly some bitter. Decent body, average carbonation.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Sweetish ale beginning. Malt, grain, smooth. The aftertaste has lots if malt, nice roasted hints, smooth ale finish. Nice.

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. Reddish amber coloured pour with no head. Aroma is twiggy nutty berry.. Flavour is sweet caramel nuts and berry. Sticky sweet palate. Mediocre.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Golden amber with a tight cream head; aroma of orange marmalade and grassy hops; full bodied and soft in the mouth, with chewy malts and caramel and grapefruit flavours; then a dry, biscuity finish. A good, satisfying beer.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel Ashford. Clear brown amber colour lasting beige head. American hop aroma. It’s a decent apa. The kind of beer 5 years ago I was begging for uk Brewers to produce. Now here it is. And it’s decent. Got good caramel malt without being sweet. Good bitterness. Good American hop grapefruit flavours. Very drinkable. Prefer the Bengali Tiger I had before but this is still good. That I would drink an authentic apa and ipa in a pub in Ashford on the same afternoon with no festival in a JDW. Amazing.

Cask gravity at the Wandsworth beer fest preview night 26/03/14. Golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head.aroma is subdued berry hop and nutty biscuit malt. Perhaps a bit too cold. Flavour I’d clean, berry hop. Grain tanin. Decent.

50cl bottle from Tesco’s, Camberley. Bright copper with a fast fading white head; malty aroma; stewed malt taste with a slight hint of hops; and more stewed malts to finish. Too much pasteurisation has played havoc with the "complex malts".
