Cask (Pleased To Meet You, Newcastle) - Dark brown in colour. Coffee, roasted malt and Bournville chocolate in the aroma. Smooth, roasted and slightly creamy taste with chocolate and roasted malt dominating, although some coffee notes are noticeable in the finish.

Cask (Pleased To Meet You, Newcastle) - Golden with a white head. Lemon and biscuity malt are in the aroma. Faintly hoppy taste with notes of pineapple and lemon standing out.

Cask (Red House, Newcastle) - Dark brown in colour. Malt, chocolate and some hints of whisky in the aroma. Chocolate, roasted malt and toffee can be detected in the taste. Nice, but not as good as I was expecting.

Euston Tap. Cask. Opaque brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and light with mild fine carbonation. Light airy dark malts with airy cream. Nice touch of cappucino frothy cream. Light lactose. Whisper of stronger coffee underneath. Mild lactose. Light.semi dry finish. Tasty!

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown with a tan head. Coffee, roasted malt and vanilla in the aroma. Roasted, milky and slightly sweet taste with notes of milk chocolate, coffee and vanilla standing out. Enjoyable and easy to drink.

500ml Bottle - Copper in colour. Chestnuts, biscuity malt and a hint of dried fruit in the aroma. Fruity, malty and nutty taste with notes of raisins, berries, walnuts, chestnuts and toffee. Balanced and tasty.

Cask at The Bow Bar. Pours dark brown, thin beige head. Light cherry aromas, mostly milk chocolate. Taste is light sweet, oats, not much fruit. Nice enough.

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Toffee, peach and a hint of pine in the aroma. Hoppy, tangy and slightly fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, peach, toffee and dried apricot.

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Pineapple cubes (the sweets!), mango and a hint of grapefruit in the aroma. Hoppy and refreshing taste with notes of mango, grapefruit and a hint of melon. Really enjoyable.
