Can from N & R News, Blackheath. Blood orange pour with a white head. Nose is stone fruits, grapefruit, pine, mango. Taste is orange marmalade, sweet citrusy action, more stone fruits. Very citrusy indeed.

440ml can Sophie's Beer Store. Pours pitch black, decent beige head. Piney roasty nose. Ashy piney roasted malts to taste, some earthy coal, chocolate with an appealing hop presence. Very good Black IPA.

440ml can Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours dark brown, large beige head. Gentle smoked malt aroma. Lovely smooth smoky porter overall, could do with a little more carbonation but it's a minor complaint for such a good beer.

Can. Color: Black, thin light brown head. Aroma: Coffee, roasted malt, very light smoky. Taste: Sweetish, coffee, roasted malt and vanilla notes. Again very subtle light smoky. Wheat malt notes. Light fruity hints of dark fruit. Quite smooth and quite dense mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Ok, but I was expecting some more smoke and less sweetness.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 29/06/21 ... ENGERLAND 2-0 germany (are going home ... the germans are going home!) Clear golden amber with a well presented white cap. Nose is orange pith, grass, pine needle, light floral notes, melon. Taste comprises bitter orange, pine nip, grapefruit, melon, grass, toasted malts, pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy come juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough straight up IPA ... clean and grassy ... ticks the WC vibe.

Can picked up from Bierliefhebber, Elsen, from the webshop, Netherlands. Had this at home listening to England v Germany, Euro Championships, Tuesday 29th June 2021. Pours deep orange, looks like squash, juicy, sweet, this is good and drinks so much easier than a 8%+ should. A touch of the tropical, full creamy mouth, a little warmth now showing. Good.

Can split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, picked up from HOTM online - Watford, 25/06/21. Murky orange with a decent light egg shell white covering. Nose is ripe citric flesh, pine resin, hop spice, melon, grapefruit. Taste comprises punchy tropical fruit esters, pineapple, sweet malts, mango. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Decent high boost hops.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg *I think. Had this sat outside in the garden, Sunday 27th June 2021 after a simply wonderful weekend down in Mittenwald. Pours almost exactly the same colour as the can, of course that won't help those who have not seen this can, so it's a deep warm gold edging towards orange with a white head, obviously a murk bomb as well. Aroma is veering towards tropical but also some citrus, I get a satsuma and pineapple combo'. Lovely mouthfeel and a well executed APA, at 6% this is a hugely drinkable beer, tropical touches throughout but the aforementioned pineapple and satsuma are back in the mouth along with a peachiness, fruity as hell, really, really good.

Can at home, 27th June 2021. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma is candied orange, mango and pine. Taste is spikey pine, resin, mango, tropical fruits and citrus, there is a refreshing bitter pithy grapefruit hit in the finish, slightly earthy, overall itโ€™s a decent DIPA

Can picked up from Beyond Beer Webshop Hamburg and consumed in Frank (camper), Mittenwald, campervan area (nr Railway Station), Saturday 26th June 2021 after a 17km loop walk, Mittenwald - Schanz - Lautersee. Pours the usual murky yellowy gold with a white head, a little lighter mouthfeel than expected but tropical fruit floods through, a touch of passion fruit adds a little zippy tang to proceedings, melon and guava also noted. Really like this, better than the TO ร˜l DIPA that I have just had.
