Keg at Torrside Brewery Open Weekend, New Mills, Derbyshire, Saturday 10th December 2016 Pours Amber with a filmy white head. Fruity bitter but with a solid malty backbone, a nice twist on a fairly pedestrian UK style and whilst it has a good rustic earthy quality it is also good hoppy bitter (ESB) A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4

Keg at Torrside Brewery Open Weekend, New Mills, Derbyshire, Saturday 10th December 2016 Pours straw coloured, a touch hazy with a slim white head. Refreshing and fruity, but with a good sausage (frankfurter) touch to it. Really lovely beer, its only 2.8% but it’s a great beer, refreshing, fresh with a light fruity touch. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.7

Cask at Torrside Brewery Open Weekend, New Mills, Derbyshire, Saturday 10th December 2016 Pours almost black in colour with a slim off-white sticky head. A touch of fresh mill pond water on the nose, Loz gets a little pear drop. Quite pokey but also a bit sweet, a touch hoppy. Loz ordered this but wasn’t struck on it but I didn’t mind it, late hops come through, a bit too sweet is my main criticism. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Keg at Torrside Brewery Open Weekend, New Mills, Derbyshire, Saturday 10th December 2016 Pours dark brown very dark chestnut, peeling away to brown at the edges with a slim off-white sticky head. Like the other BIPA this is quite cold so nose is a bit muted. Good straightforward BIPA, hoppy blast but nice roastiness throughout, it’s a really good beer. Dry finish, really good.
