Description
We've been brewing in New Mills since 2015, based at the Marina and opposite the famous Swizzels factory.
Our name comes from the other major landmark of the town, the Torrs - a park set in the 70-foot-deep gorge cut by the Rivers Goyt & Sett, that the town stands above and around, where many of the town's mills used to stand.

Cloudy gold - amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy with good fine carbonation. Soft rich malts, sweetish and with some depth of flavour. Spicy mid, some floralness. Skunky fruits with mild to medium ripe fruits. Light savoury linger. Interesting beer, rich and tasty.

Bottle. Nose is smoked, malty, ham, sweet smoke. Taste is very sweet malts, caramel, honey, leading to a smokey finish, with savoury ham and cheese characteristics. Mouthfeel is thin and flat. I love a smoked beer, so enjoyed the smokey flavours, but the base beer is too sweet and flat. I canโt see why you would ever drink this over a German original

Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Straw coloured with a thin head. Slightly weak in its texture, similar to its weak appearance, but itโs heavy smoked aroma with lots of ham goes a way to improving sipping proceedings.

Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Copper-red with a small head. Gritty malty bitter, which is mildly burnt in aroma and taste with a few chocolate malts apparent.

Hazy yellow color, medium-sized creamy white head, lace. Light-bodied. Light citrus, a bit grassy, easy fruity, a bit watery. Meh.

Peoples History Museum Beer Festival 2016. Hazy amber ale. Its strength dominates proceedings, with its hops next and a decent fruitiness.

Keg @ Birmingham Beer Bash 2016. Pours dark with small tan head. Aroma is light, sweet roast. Taste is smooth dry, layered roast with an underlying coconut sweetness. Complex and delicious.
