Cask, third at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast. Shared with Finn. Hazy brownish body, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Malt-fruity nose, mid-sweet. Stewed fruity flavours, toffee and ripe citrus. Bittersweet end. Fine depth. Satisfying. (Third day of the festival, 24.01.2020).

Cask at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival: Poured a deep brown with thin off-white head. Aroma seems of cocoa and peanut butter. Taste is smooth milky chocolate.

[ As Stubborn Mule The Mandarin Candidate ].
ABV: 3.4%. Hazy medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, fruit, mandarin. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, pale malt, fruity hops, sweet malt, citrus - citrus fruit, mandarin - orange, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190807]

Cask @ The Brink, Manchester. Black with a creamy off-white head. Ginger is evident but light, and has smooth milky roasted malts as its dominant taste. Some spice does develop in its aftertaste.

Cask @ Jack In The Box, Manchester. Cloudy amber with a thick head. Tasted of tropical fruit but this was end of the barrel so might not have been in prime condition.

Keg at brewdog Lothian road. Pours hazy pinkish orange, nose is ginger, lemon, perfume, light rhubarb, taste is salty, tart, floral, sweet. 8/3/7/3/15

Bottle at beer Nouveau... Copper.. Thin white lacing.. Soft sweet floral toffee.. Light oxidised malts nose.. Light dry bitter.. Long woody bitter

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: uklar korngul med kort skum. Mandariner/clementiner, lime og appelsinmarmelade. Og allikevel avslutter den ganske tørt, Gode greier i bare 3.4 ABV!
