Cask at GBBF. It pours deep brown - black with a small bubbly beige/tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, chewy, milk chocolate, malteser and a bit of Worcestershire sauce. The taste is drying, toasty, roasted malt, bitter - sweet, earthy, cacao nibs and milky chocolate with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty alright, doesn’t come across artificial or anything like that.

Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Clear golden with a strength to it, but its pale ale character just about dominates.
