From a 50 cl bottle shared at Travlr’s sour beer tasting. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Plastic notes in the nose. Plastic flavors. OOF.

Bottle. Cloudy golden yellow color. Aroma of tannic vanilla. Taste is straw, hay, tannins.

Pours cloudy orange with a small white ead. Aroma is fruity, toasted malty. Bitter, fruity and toasted malty. Dry and bitter finish.

Bottle sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew. Cuivrée, col beige. Bière au profil malté, citronné et agrumes avec un accompagnement finement herbacé, amertume peu convaincante pour une bitter. Retrouve une fin de bouche un peu aigrelette qui porte une marque boisée, citra est léger et assez ’off’ comme usage en amertume compte tenu de son caractère fruité.

New rate - Quintessence 2016. Trouble dorée, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez fruité et fermenté rappelant la pêche et abricot, sorte de brett et léger funk lambic en rétro. Palais offre une barrique modéré légère impression de fruits concentrés, note de cave, sec et terreux, fruits à noyaux. Pamplemousse avec une petite note lambic sur la fin. Semble que seuls ces versions usant de lambic Cantillon sortent du lot. Bottle sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew. Orangée-cuivrée, pas de col. Arôme est malté, caramel, léger funk de lambic en rétro. Fleuri modéré des houblons nobles. Palais est assez faiblard avec quasi aucune effervescence, malt léger avec un palais rappelant un peu une sorte de pot d’argile.Petite note boisée venant peut-être du lambic. Le tout reste très faible au niveau aigrelet et juste une petite note sèche de lambic se fait noter. Fini poudreux. Sans plus, et manque de convaincre. Arrêtez de mélanger du lambic avec n’importe quoi. 6-2-6-2-13 5/25/15

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Amber little white head,… Nose is quite metallic, herbal, lightly funky, overly sugary,.. Taste is herbal, fizzy, funk, bread, sweetish & metallic,.. Body is metallic & bit thin,… Just okay for me.

Bottle at Leuven innovation festival. Golden with white head and lots of little bubbles. Lots of Citra hops up front, white wine, wood, hay, marijuana. Quite bitter with light sweetness. Medium bodied with creamy feel from the carbonation. Good stuff!

Bottle at Leuven innovation festival. Clear gdark golden with no head. Some brett, bitter citrus, orange peel and I guess kunquats, over ripe mango, sour grains, bitter herbal hops towards the end. Quite bitter with light sourness. Light bodied, no carbonation.

Bottle sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew. Cuivrée clair, col blanc. Arôme est fruité avec un bouquet alternant sur un léger doux-acidulé venant du kumquat et de la barrique qui confère qcq effluves boisées en rétro. Palais est légèrement malté avec un ajout agréable du mûrissage en barrique qui apporte qcq notes de boisé - épicé. Retrouve un fini légèrement citronné acidulé des levures sauvages et du kumquat.
