Gravity dispense at EBF ’18, 07/08/14. Light black / dark mahogany brown with a moderately appointed light tan covering. Nose is light roast, cocoa powder, root ginger, spice, earthy vibes. Taste comprises dark toffee, spice, cocoa rub, ginger notes, light roast, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok porter, more ginger on the nose than the taste for me.

Cask at the 18th Egham Beer Frestival. Deep chestnut with a translucent head; aroma of pine and citrus; nicely hopped with a rounded pine and citrus hoppy taste; and a lasting finish. Good stuff.

Cask - Lime and some nice citrus hops. Clear gold with a nice frothy head. Pithy a pond resinous bitterness with some mild citrus notes. Pretty lively IPA for a cask.

Cask - Light malts and ginger. Jet black with a thin brown head. Ginger dominates with a light malt profile mid palate and some chocolate in the finish. Ginger come off a bit too strong.
