Description
It’s safe to say that we like beer. In fact we like beer so much that we started our own brewery and it’s an employment requirement that everyone who joins our team is also passionate about beer. Obviously we’re a business so we have to make a profit each year so we can carry on working in the industry we love. We do that by making the best beer that we can.

Cask at The Hope, Carshalton. It pours black with a thick, bubbly light tan head. The nose is toasted, rich roast, plenty of dark chocolate, rocky road, burnt treacle, umami, dull smoke, grapefruit and a touch of marmalade. The taste is smooth, rich roast, some creaminess, bitter, burnt pine, toasted action, liquorice, dark chocolate, some umami, light alcohol and citrus peel with a dry, toasted finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, well rounded and rather flavoursome. A quality cask stout with a modern twist.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2015. Dark with roasted malts fused with a general sweetness, presumably from the honey, but this actual flavour is very low.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A golden amber pour with a thin white head; floral aroma with some gingery spice in the background; thick syrupy consistency that coats the mouth, with a gentle but sustained bitterness, and the sweetness well balanced with some sour grains. Saitsfying and easy to drink.
