Solsletta 021122. Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, yeast. Flavor is fruit, malt, yeast, bread, pine, citrus, grass. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. It pours a hazy orange-golden colored body under a small beige head. The aroma is quite weak, with fruityness driving the show. Grass, yeast, plum, pale malts, hints of white bread and some piney hints. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-dry, with a decent bitterness. Pale malts, white bread, generic fruityness, some citrus and a touch of yeast in the flavor. Medium length slightly cloying finish. Sure drinkable, but a bit messy and rather dull. 221102

Bottle @ Håndverkeren. Clear, deep amber body under a dense beige head. Aroma has mild roasted, dark malt, dry fruit, fresh bread and toffee. Taste has the same elements, smooth, mild roasted, sweet malt, toffee, bread, dry fruit and moderate bitterness. Balanced body and the same malty aftertaste. Nice sample of the style.

0,33 flaske fra VP Herbarium, hjemme: mørk skittenbrun med fint kniplingskum. Mørkrøstet malt, litt kaffe og 70%-sjokolade, noe sot/aske og overmodne bringebær. Besk avslutning sammen med nevnte bringebær. Lite tiltalende.

Bottle is gift from my parents. Consumed in Kristiansand 14.09.22. Dark brown. Diminishing brown head. Well-balanced aroma and taste of cherries, roasted malt, pine, bitter grapefruit and tobacco. Good.

Bottle. It pours a lightly unclear golden colored body under a small off-white head. The aroma has some raspberry and a hint of cherry, with a light generic fruityness. Some pale malt in the back. It’s medium bodied and semi-dry, with a nice carbonation. Rather low bitterness. The flavor too is quite berry-ish, mostly raspberry, but there’s also a cherry note. Generic fruityness, pale malts and a faint note of grass and piney hops. Medium length finish. A decent one, with a surprising cherry touch, considering there’s no cherry added. Moderate aromas of berry skins alongside a scent of dark malts. Slightly unbalanced berry-malty flavours, raspberries added by a note of chocolate. Prolonged ending. Rather thin mouth feel. Bottle. A dark, dark brown beer with a small, dense beige head. The flavor has quite a lot of raspberry and raspberry leaves, quite perfumed, with roasted malts, some burnt malts and bark. It's full to medium bodied, nicely carbonated, and rather dry on the palate. Raspberry, berry plant leaves, roasted malts, dark chocolate notes, a burnt bonfire-ish touch and some herbal notes in the flavor. Rather dry finish. Too weird this one, and unbalanced. 220825
