0,33 flaske fra Statens seruminstitutt i Verksgata, hjemme en regnfull novemberlørdag: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Balansert, men noe beskjeden aroma og smak av mine favoritthumler Mandarina Bavaria, Citra pluss Lemondrop. De kunne gjerne brukt mer av alle, dette blir for puslete. Hvetemalten bidrar til fin munnfølelse. Behagelig bitterhet, men ettersmaken har kort liv.

Bottle. A clear golden colored beer with a finger-thick white head. Some curtains. The aroma is quite grassy, with little else shining through. Pale malts, herbal hints and some piney hops. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Grassy flavor too, with some pale malts, pine cones and herbal hints. Grassy, herbal finish too. Too grassy this one, way too grassy. 211020

On tap at Cafe Sara. It's almost black in the glass, with a creamy light tan head leaving lacing. The aroma has roasted malts, chocolate and some coffee notes, lots of aquavit and a good dash of caramel sauce. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, guess the aquavit does more to that feeling than the alcohol itself, smooth and nicely carbonated, with a good sweetness. It feels almost pastry stout-ish in the flavor due to the sweetness and all the chocolatey, roasted malt flavors. Some coffee and heavy caramel sauce, as well as a lightly spiced booze touch. Super-long finish. A delicious beer indeed, sure one of the best from Balder. 190608

330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Big, rocky white tophead, hazy golden body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of dusty hops, pale malts, and a citric scent. Quite well mixed taste of citrus and pale malts. Nice dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pretty alright. (Tromsø 06.09.2021).

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Next-to-clear golden body, remaining white head that laced just fine. Moderate malt-fruity aromas, citrus, grain, and grass. Grain driven taste character added by herbal hops, ripe lemon and orange. Mid-dry finish with discreet bitterness. Satisfying. (Tromsø 05.09.2021).

330 ml bottle, from SPAR Kinsarvik. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, slightly hazy when the yeast is poured in the end, large white head. Moderate aroma, weak herbal notes. Decent pilsener flavour, citric and herbal notes.

Drukket på Bergstua. Appelsinfarget. Uklar. Middels høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av krydder & tropisk frukt. Ikke spesielt inviterende. Smaken tropisk frukt. Veldig tørr etter hvert.
