330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget (via Langnes). Firm fawn-coloured head slowly diminishing over a near jet black body. Lancing rings down the glass. Gentle aromas of cocoa and dark chocolate. Rather well balanced taste profile of grainy chocolate, dark fruits, grass and salty liquorice, followed by a roasted bitter finish. Medium bodied. Oily palate. Likable (Tromsø 04.04.2014).

Medium beige head. Slightly hazy reddish brown body. Syrupy spicy rye crisp bread with fruity alcoholic notes. Sweet-dryish caramelly syrupy spicy taste with earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish spicy earthy bubblegum aftertaste with lacquer and rye notes. Nice, interesting, unusual. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly web order.)

330 ml bottle from Vaaland. A pretty clear dark golden/amber body with a stable, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is quite mild malty and unfortunately a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is mild, sweet malty, caramel, relatively fruity and moderate in bitterness with some butterscotch. It’s actually quite promising as a sweet and rather tasty lager, but I’m quite sensitive to diacetyl so this is not a good one for me, sorry.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Storo. Pours slight hazy golden with a white head, Mild malty and fruity aroma with notes of citrus and caramel and some floral hints. Medium sweet, pretty mild flavours and a fairly mild bitterness too. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite okay, but fairly boring.

Deep amber / brown with a light brown head - Roasted malt aroma - Good malt body with some caramel and spicy licorice in the back - Long good malt finish With some hint of bitterness - This was nice

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, black winegum crocodiles, dried fruits, wet grain, hay, sugar, butterscotch. Taste is harsh grainy, weeds, caramel malts, wet harsh grain, hay, butterscotch, cardboard. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Diacetyl bomb!
