Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, black winegum crocodiles, dried fruits, wet grain, hay, sugar, butterscotch. Taste is harsh grainy, weeds, caramel malts, wet harsh grain, hay, butterscotch, cardboard. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Diacetyl bomb!

330 ml bottle, from Vaaland. ABV is 4.7%. Amber to red colour, moderate to low off-white head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch and a hint of smoke. Flavour of caramel malts, but not too sweet, rather dry, actually. Hints of butterscotch, smoke and dust. 32 IBU? Unbelievable! Minimal hops. Drinkable, but really not my kind of beer.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14 as Sognapils. Lightly hazed dark amber with moderate off white spotting Nose is toffee, bready, vanilla. Taste comprises sugars, toffee, vanilla - very similar to aroma, pretty basic. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but pretty basic fayre.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Haze dark amber/chestnut brown with a big old beige covering. Nose is burnt tofrr, spice, dark fruit, cake mix. Taste comprises toffee, sugars, Soreen Fruit Loaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweetish close. So so.
