375ml (thx, Kory V.!) at Matt's amenity room. Appearance: murky with a weak white head. Aroma: nice hoppy character with pleasant grape notes. Taste: along the same lines with a nice representation of grapes character, moderately dry. Overall: very nice.

Wow that is nice and juicy. Sure it says sour, but it's so light, it just acting as a nice counterpoint to the tropical juicy flavours pineapple and passion fruit, with a little pine hops in the mix. Quite tasty.

375ml from Spirits of Mt. Seymor @ home shared with Andrey. Appearance: a bit hazy straw with a white head. Aroma: weird lacto notes, like a yogurt, some slight peppery notes. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: this one tastes like a very old Belgian saison, meh.

This is an odd one. First taste it's all about the hops, as one would expect from a dipa. I'm getting resin, citrus pith, and a little pine. The grape seems to come in at the end with a flattened finish of a little peach, bland grape ans apple juice, amongst the hops. It's subtle and a bit of an odd combination.

Burdock really need to lable the hop variant on the bottle for this series. According to the website I'm drinking the Vic Secret, Ella, Mosaic and enriched Citra, so I guess they were clearing out the hops cupboard. (We all need a hops cupboard don't we?) It is tasty. Mildly hay malt the supports moderate resin, a little floral, over a base of bitter. The bitter builds on the finish as the other aspects fade out. Pleasant beer. Perfect for sitting on the dock.

Bottle picked up from Burdock, and drank at the cottage. (Hence the sweet loon cup in the picture.) Pours cloudy maroon, thin head to a ring. Nose is slight, concentrated OJ and nearly nothing sour. Taste is thin, light berry, a little more OJ, and a touch of sour. I do realize this is only a 3.9, but even with that in mind it's still too thin. Not sour enough for a Berliner by a longshot, and not enough fruit. Tasty, but deeply under done.

Beer bottle looks good, all sweaty and full as I sit on the cottage dock, also sweaty, but in an entirely different and less pleasant way. Not planning on sticking my nose at the tip of the bottle, I'll go right to the sipping. Oh it's good. Mildly unripe grape sour, not overwhelming, and it lingers. Mild vanilla, with overall vinous feel. Quite tasty.

Yellow cloudy with head to ring. Nice mild but tangy Brett nose. Taste medium sour, that blends with the juice give it a under-ripe grape feel. Mild hint of cream from the oak. Lingering sour. Super drinkable.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a tiny head. Aroma brings out gentle tart cherries and a little lacto. Flavour is quite lacto-dominated, with subdued cherry. Earthy and hay-like finish. It's alright.
