Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with short lasting white head that leaves quite some lacing. Soft orange and apricot, cloves, minerals and light biscuits. Light sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied with dry feel.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at tiong’s tasting, thanks, 20160109) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had hops and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, Belgian style yeast, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A decent hop-forward Belgian style ale.

Draught sample. Pitch black with a thin, off-white head. Roasted aroma with caramel, chocolate, coffee, licorice, vanilla and herbal hops. Taste is bitter-roasted. Medium body with an oily texture. Good for the abv. Finishes dry and roasted bitter with coffee and licorice. Nice Stout.

Draught sample. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with grasses, pale malts, citrus fruits and subtle cardboard (?) Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits. Average.

At Maakun’s. Cool looking bottle pours a cloudy straw blonde with white head. Fruity and flowery with lots of doughiness and weed hops. Taste is light sweet and strong bitter. Body is round, nice slick texture and refreshing.

Bottle shared at home. Hazy pale straw with big white head. Lots of nice citrus hops, light leaves, grapefruit juice, some fruit skins, light biscuits, a light mineral touch. Very light sweet and under medium bitter. Under medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation and dry feel.

A golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, OK. In mouth, biscuit malt with citrusy floral hops, a bit of Pledge cleaner, a bit thin bodied, OK. Bottle from Le Bon Marché, April 2015.
