Bottle from Tesco Winchester. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light, fresh, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, slightly watery hop bitter, light citrus palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Served cool. Easy drinking and quite refreshing.

Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley. Pitch black with a loose beige head; coffee aroma; sweet earthy aroma with some peat smoke, then dry with a woody bitterness and some burnt carmael; there’s warming alcohol before a lingering bitter chocolate finish. Very good indeed.

Huddersfield Beer Festival. Golden ale with a good steady but not stated fruitiness in both aroma and taste.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a white froth head; looks great. Rich on the citrus, with minerals, jam, nice oily pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Jammy fruits, citrus to finish with good bitterness. Solid effort here.
