From cask at Standing Order (JDW), Southampton 23 Jan 14. Deep, deep brown. Almost black. A low head with some color. The aroma & flavour is caramel. A bit watery and even more caramel in the finish. OK but a bit boring.

50cl bottle from Tesco, Camberley. Pale amber with a ring of white head; slightly stewed, malty aroma; soft and sweet in the mouth, with some tinned pineapple to start, then some lemony citrus; and a dry floral finish. A pleasant summer ale, but slightly over pasteurised.
