330ml bottle: BB 10th Aug 2021. Now called THE J'ALE, not 'The Jail Ale'. Red hue to the brown body, decent off-white head on top. Mild malty nose, the taste also malt forward; good hop base too. No mention of Rye on the label, but it has that distinct Rye flavour within it's make up.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours not that hazy deep hold with a frothy white cap. The aroma is sweet, sticky and juicy, melon upfront, orange marmalade, dried mango, apricot, orange chewits, gummy bears and sweet green weedy accents. The taste is dryish, light green bitterness upfront and then sweetens up, sticky, juicy, candied orange fruits, papaya, big hit of melon, weedy, dank, wet herbs, spice and light alcohol kick with some dryness through the finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent, but perhaps a touch sweet.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe: BB 25th Aug 2021. Drank at home in the early hours of 25th Jan 2021. Slight haze to the headless golden brew. No aroma, very little actual taste; either I've got Covid-19 and my senses have gone, or this is 'bland' and uninteresting. It's the later because my strong Cheddar Cheese and Saline Biscuits are still detectable.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy rich orangey - gold with a bubbly white head. I originally inverted the bottle a few times like it said on the label but there was so much floating gunk out it back in the fridge to settle again... The aroma is rather sweet, juicy, passion fruit, mango, peach and fruit salad sweets. The taste is dry, green, weedy, sticky, dank, pine, quite spicy, heavy sticky ripe tropical fruits, passion fruit, peach, mango, apricot, light resin, pithy citrus and some soapiness kicking about through the finish. Medium body and fine, yet dense carbonation. There is plenty of nice elements to it, but something in there doesn't quite sit right with me. A touch soapy and perhaps some plastic buy it is subtle. Not so bad overall.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow with a cream coloured head. Nose - immediate peach or more closely nectarine aroma. Taste - creamy fresh and slightly overripe peach. Palate - creamy texture as expected. Balanced bitterness and a decent taper on the finish. Overall - it's all peach. Definitely enough to feed a small village.

Bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, dark plum. Taste is fruity, chocolate, lactose sweetness at the end. Creamy texture.

Bottle from The Beer Cave. Murky bronze body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach, glue and orange. Flavour of nectarine and melon with a slight plastic note on the finish. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. It’s drinkable but there’s a hint of a flaw I think with a subtle glue/plastic note.
