0.33 l bottle from belgianshop.com. Poured slightly hazy golden body with big head. Yeasty aroma, fruity banana, citrus and spices with fine sweet flowery and candy maltiness. Sweetish flavor as well, candy sugar and banana, pleasant but quite simple, specially because it’s watery. Alcohol is not felt, but that was expected at only 7%. Quite short, but pleasantly sweetish finish. This is typical Belgian ale in my opinion. Not bad, but nothing special considering the style.

Bottle, Belgian Belly, Manchester. Poured a palish golden colour with a reasonable white head that gave it fair look appeal. Sharp citrus and yeasty flavour.Heavy carbonation and slight metallic tinge coupled with prominent alcohol lost this marks.

Golden colour with a big white head. Aroma is of sweet fruits and yeast. Flavour is malty, a bit fruity. Alcohol very present. Indeed a ’Duvel wannabe’, not very well done.

Bottle, Belgian Belly, Manchester. Pours a dense dark brown with a thick foamy biege head. Looks very inviting. Aroma is sweetish, with roasted malts, spice and dark fruit. Flavour is malty with more fruit and notes of caramel ,yet with a slight metallic tang which luckilly isn’t too prominent in the mix. Quite heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Far from perfect, but enjoyable on the whole.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin lazing amber head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fresh fruit as well as lighter notes of over ripe fruits, leading to a dry bitter and fruity finish.
