Ruby color, small white head. Light caramelly and metallic aroma. Bulk brune: caramellish with plum and raisins. Plain, but drinkable. Roman beers are not usually very interesting.

Bottled. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is vegetables, caramel, earth and hops. Flavour is quite the same with big grassy and earthy finish.

Draught @ Casino, Eine, Belgium. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (131207)

33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours dark brown with a lacing light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, dried fruity note and mild yeasty tone. Flavour is slight breadish with a note of dried fruit. Remains un-sweet without really becoming dry. Finish is breadish with a faint note of fruit. Nice brew by all means.

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is mild spices along with nuts and slightly notes of yeast. Flavour is quite the same along with some slight notes of alcohol and licorice.

Bottled - live at Kerstbierfestival. A brown beer with a red shine under a thin lazing brown head. The flavor is very malty with strong notes of yeast, caramel, alcohol, as well as light notes of spices. The body is weak for a 9% ABV beer. The finish is dry slightly woody, spicy and with hints of licorice.

Pours reddish amber with a big collapsing head. Lots of yeast on the nose along with notes of caramel and marzipan. Very sweet with dry notes of yeast and alcohol. A bit thin. There’s better Belgians out there.
