Bottle; Nose of bready yeast, and a light amount of spiceiness; gold with a big gold tinged head; flavor is peppery with some graininess, and spices. Alcohol is pretty well covered but a little shows in the finish.

330 ml Bottle. Clear golden copper body with a fine off-white head. A light caramel malt aroma with some citrus. Flavor is malty, sweet and also a bit citrus sour plus the regular Ename spiciness. Quite pleasant.

250 ml Bottle. Hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. Flavor is like a typical Belgium wit bear, but with less of everything. A bit watery body.

330 ml Bottle. Dark clear golden with a big white head. Aroma has some kind of sugar sweetness, fruit and yeast. Flavor is sweet, spicy, fruity and some alcohol. A bit warming alcohol aftertaste. A pleasant straight forward strong Belgium ale that’s trying to copy Duvel. Duvel is still a bit better.

Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. Had the young mr Roman serving it, a really friendly and nice guy. The beer is golden, and unclear, with a white head. The nose is a bit weak, grassy and sweet. The flavor is more towards hay than grass, but there’s sweetness there too. A full bodied beer with a spicy finish. Decent, nothing special. I prefer the Ename series from this brewer. (070103)

A very malty beer. Some alcohol and fruit, and a thick, heavy palate. Much better than the blond, and I am surprised to see this rated as low as it is.
