Bottle from BIAB. It pours clear dark red - brown with a beige head. The aroma is sweet and tangy, rich berry character, cherry wine, jammy, toasted malts, earth, oak, vanilla and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, earthy, oak, varnish, kind of metallic, tangy dark fruits, loads of berry, jammy, fruit compote, Dr Pepper, sherry, tannin and some boozy alcohol with a drying finish. Medium + body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Very fruity and definitely has a sherry vibe about it. Metallic edge detracts from the overall experience though. Not bad.
