Bottle pours a slightly hazy caramel amber. Very nice off white head. Aroma of moderate maltiness and hops. Neither was over powering. Falvor seemed balanced and somewhat middle of the road. Fairly robust hoppiness. More like an IPA with a couple extra ABV points. Not bad.

2024-05-30, can, this one is 50cl, brewed by Alken-Maes in Belgium, canned on 08/02/2023, less than 4 months ago, 7-4-6-2-12=31
Blond colour, slightly dark, with chill haze. Decent aroma, malt and light hops. Decent malt base, a bit bready and toasty; the mouthfeel is dry; I wonder though whether they used an infinitesimal part of Crystal; balanced bitterness, but poor hop quality; it's a bit earthy, somebody would even say skunky; it's very cheap, but even for this price I'm not sure it's worth buying more of it.

Golden colour, clean. Mild aroma of piney hops and candied orange. Good body; there is some residual sweetness; caramel flavour, not sticky, but yeah, that's old school (well made though), with accents of breadcrust, slightly toasted cereals, burtnt honey; bold bitterness, supported by hop resins.
Can't get more West Coast IPA than this, still quite old school, but very enjoyable.

Golden color, clean, with medium sized head. Wonderful aroma of toasty, bready malts, and delicate citrusy hops. Lean mouthfeel; mild caramel flavor with tones of toasty cereals; strong bitterness, with a bit of hop qualities too, mild citrus presence; it's rather fresh.
It's somehow old style, but it's a very good IPA; I'm enjoying the sixpack.

Copper color. The aroma is quite fruity (apricots). The mouthfees is quite thin; anyway there is some malt taste, dry; the hops have some aromas and fruitiness, but have been added without soul. Medium bitterness, not too much; some late hop resin.

On cask at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 10/20/2009. Somewhat hazy reddish amber body with a medium rocky off-white head. Sweet floral and citrus hop aroma on a caramel background. Dry floral, citrus and slightly earthy flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 7/4/8/4/15 - 3.8 05/28/2006: Clear red color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet light caramel, toffee, and some light nuttiness. Flavor of light bittering hops. Thanks to Kinz for bringing this to share. 7/4/7/3/15 - 3.6

Rating #1400.Deep red-brown body, thin/medium buff head. Aroma of burnt caramels, toast, brown sugar, and bitter, citrusy hops. Alcohol prominent on the sip (I suspect this would be diminished at colder temperatures), with big, rindy hops balanced by toast and caramel. Long, bitter finish. This is very good.

Draught: Archer Ale House, Bellingham, WA. Bright copper colour. The aroma is slightly floral with brown sugar notes and woody hoppiness. Bitter, woody hop character with slightly chewy brown sugar malts. The finish is a bit astringent and alcoholic. Not really sure where they’re going with this. It shows me nothing new and isn’t particularly palatable. These flavours and aromas are better served as instruments in an orchestra rather than being the whole band.

Bottle. Amber-ruby color with an off-white head. Grapefruit aroma with pine and some malt. Pine, fruity (mostly summer fruit - simcoe?) flavor with rich malts. Great fruity aftertase. Alcohol is noticeable. Full flavored and fuller bodied. You can keep drinking this for a long time and not grow tired of it.

Easily one of my favorites. Pours an amber/reddish color that remains a bit cloudy. Tastes of maltiness, citrus, plum, caramel, and some hop presence. Rich flavor throughout the entire glass.

Bottle. Dark reddish-brown beer with a nice mocha colored head. Light roasted malt aroma. Smooth roasted malt flavor with lots of piney hops. Some berry fruitiness. Balanced flavor with malt and hops blending in the aftertaste. Not a typical imperial stout.

2011-03-05, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Dark brown color. Mild aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Dark caramel flavor, some malt, correct body strength, some roasted malt and bad coffee too; also very light fruitiness and some sweetness. Correct bitterness. Nothing special.

Brown color. Malty aroma, mature, hops, caramel. Good malty taste, with a strong caramel character, not complex but pleasant.
