Bottled. Golden, almost clear, with an off-white head. Citrus, malt, sweetness and pine in the aroma. Malty, sweet flavor with citrus and pine. Full body, and a lot of bitterness in the finish. Bitter but pleasant. (060720)

Golden color with plenty of bubbles and a medium white head. Taste is pleasant with hops, grain, citrus, malts, and some spices. Pretty much all that you would expect in a beer. Nothing outstanding, but well balanced and easy to drink.

Yes another beer style gets "Imperialized", this time a Cream Ale. The final result is not nearly as bad as I would have expected. The beer is a dark golden color with a medium fluffly white head that has pretty good retention. Rings of lacing throughout the glass. Aroma of fruit and hops. Medium-bodied with flavor characteristics similar to something like Gumballhead but not as pronounced. Clean, wheaty mouthfeel with citrus and malt in the background. The finish is a little peppery with hops and spices. Yes it’s great for a Cream Ale but still isn’t exactly earth-shaking. Still, I would get this again.

Dark amber, hints of copper pour with a frothy head. Aroma is of hops, florals, and fruity tones. Taste is more hoppy, some malty sweetness, light caramels, citrus, and pine. Many flavors present, yet very well balanced. I enjoyed this one thoroughly.

Pours a muted golden/orange color with a thin light beige head atop. Spotty lacing through the whole glass. Banana and wheat aromas are present, along with a bit of citrus. Light body with a light yeast character. Banana and spice flavors show up here and there as well, but not with much authority. The finish is fruity and yeasty with a touch of hops lingering. Slightly above average all around.

Medium amber in color, thick whiteish head. Great malty and hops aroma with a subtle sweetness. Taste is much more intense with hops (powerful hops), citrus, and florals. A crisp and dry finish. Well balanced flavor and one of my favorite IIPA’s from now on.

Very dark pour from the bomber, with brown hues around the edges. Thick, light brown, creamy head. Sweet smell with coffee and brown sugar notes. Watery texture with very soft carbonation. Moderate alcoholic finish. Not the best Imperial Stout as the flavors are not as distinct as other breweries. Softer finish than you might expect.

I have been rather fond of this brewer of late so I jumped at the opportunity to try another one of their beers. Sampled on draft at Rivertowne Inn in North Huntingdon PA this beer poured a medium golden color with a trace of a white head. The aroma is lightly sweet and tangy with a bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The flavor is vague sweet and tangy malts with a bit of a bready undertone and a tangy finish. Fairly bland.

Nose of a little caramel malt and a little wheatiness; light amber with a small number of white bubbles; flavor is malty with a decent bit of hops in the flavor and the finish.
