473 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 9.1%. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Rich aroma of malts and orange marmalade. Rich flavour too, again distinct malts and notes of bitter orange marmalade, but also distinct piney / resinous and spicy hops. Tastes like a hybrid between a Belgian triple and an IPA.

Shared can at Mandag i Annen; Cardinal. ABV is 8%. Matured in bourbon barrels of American oak, and Cabernet barrels of French oak. Brown colour, small off-white head. The aroma and flavour have of course notes of cocoa and chocolate, but it is well balanced, not overdone. Distinct notes of bourbon whiskey, oak and vanilla, but also notes of red wine. Decent hops. Harmonious and sophisticated.

Substantial off white head on a near black body. Nose has dark chocolate, berries, and some coffee. Taste profile has the same elements, with notes of cola and cream.

Chocolate, malt and a touch of spice on the nose. The taste profile leads with chocolate, hazelnuts, caramel and roasted malt. Dark and red fruit, a citrus hop note and a touch of coffee blend smoothly with the other elements. Solid body and smooth mouth feel. Really nice at 4.5% ABV

A solid off-white head on a red/mahogany body. The nose is sweet with caramel, citrus and chocolate notes. Bourbon, caramel, dark berries and a solid touch of citrus hops lead the taste profile. Brown sugar, prunes and roasted malt, a rich body, and slick and slightly sticky mouth feel add up to a nice BW experience. Sweet but not out of line with the style.

A nose like a mild Tripel or quad - brown sugar, dates and a touch of banana. The taste leans towards Tripel as well, with brown sugar, dates, berries and only a hint of hops. A little rye warmth and spiciness. I prefer hoppier brown ales, but this is a solid sweet double.

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light dank notes, light cereal, pleasant. On tap at Festival des Bières de Laval 2025.
