330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellowish golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is minimally tart, moderately bitter and fruity hoppy, some lemon, some yeast; prickling carbonation.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Yallow color, slightly hazy. Firm white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma’s: sweet spices, coriander clearly noticeable, ginger (not actually in it!), sweet malts, additionally fragrant flowers retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, with a light herbal bitterness. Peppers warming up the mouith and throat, but only slightly so. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Moderate bitter finish.

Bottle from Reading BF 2014 and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold lasting thick white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, a little soap maybe but the hop is light citrus and good. Perfumed soap in the mouth with a little pepperyness. Soap dies down a little to leave a light citrus hopped beer. Some bitterness on the finish. Could do without the soap to be honest. Reminds me of something light and hoppy from Belgium. OK.

Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Hazy orange colour, with a white medium sized head. Nose is hoppy, tropical fruits, pineapple, fruity and sweet. Flavour is hoppy, with pineapple and tropical fruits. Juicy. Fairly bitter for a saison. Short clean finish.

Hazy amber beer, good fluffy white head. Palate is airy and minerally crisp. Light malt, whisper of cream. Mild pithy orange and grapefruit. Finishes light and dry with a mild bitter linger and a touch of lemon. It’s a bit hollow and slightly tired tasting but overall okay.

33 cl bottle @ Roest. Orange/light amber color, fairly clear. White to off white head with good lacing (in the plastic cup!). Aroma’s of herbal hops, some resin, grain/malt, some caramel, hopbitterness (esp. retronasal). Flavor is moderate bitter with a light caramel malty backbone. Medium bodied. Finishes with a lasting bitterness and some caramel. Very nice.
