Half-pint on 18th Oct 2014 at the CAMRA Oxford Beer Festival, gravity pour. Looked fine, clear amber body with a full, lasting crown. Slight citrus aroma with a malty undertone. The taste followed the nose, mini-citrus hints on a biscuity malt base. OK rather than great.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2014. Ok Amber ale, but nothing that made it jump out during the day session.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. Decent take on the style, with notes of burnt toast, rounded chocolate, earth, baking cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grainy toast finish with further cocoa and roasted malts. Pretty OK.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Dark in the glass with a beige head. The beer starts quite neutral. Hints if roasted malt, fresh, easy to drink. Only in the end of the mainpart there is some sweetish malt, nice and smooth with a moderate bitterness coming in. The aftertaste is medium, fresh-malty, smooth and quite long lasting with malty-dry hints. Nice.
