Description
We brew beer that is distinct because we believe that moments together call for something memorable. It could be our Midwestern roots, or the land we draw inspiration from, but crafting the right beer for the right moment is central to us.

Bottle, thanks to an off-site co-worker bringing it into town. Poured a medium dark brown color with a small off-white head that dissipated greatly. Aroma was coffee, chocolate, roasted malts. Flavor was toasted malts, coffee. A very interesting imperial stout.

12oz bottle. Finally scored a few bottles, one of the harder beers to come by in WI. Pours a deep, opaque, deepest possible burgundy-brown. Fluffy beige head fades out but continues to lace the glass. Relatively mellow aroma..malty, slight cherry tones. Impressively complex for a beer that doesnβt really show much hop presence. The rich malt tones are well balanced by the oak and cherry flavors. A nice sourness in the aftertaste. Excellent, World Class beer.

Bottle, thanks to an off-site co-worker bringing it into town. Poured a brown color with a off-white head. A little more translucent than I expected, but thatβs not a bad thing. Flavor is nice notes of coffee, toasted malts, toffee, touch of chocolates.

Bottle, shared by plovmand. A clear, dark amber beer with a minimal dark beige head. Very mocha-ish aroma, some alcohol, and a bonfire touch. I could sniff on this one for a while. The flavor has a very pleasant alcohol touch, with mocha, burnt malts and some dried fruits and bonfire too. Good bitterness, both hoppy and roasted. Full-bodied and dry, finishing with a fine blend of mocha, bitterness and alcohol. Lovely indeed, tasteful, wonderful aroma and moreish. 100814

Bottle at Bodega in La Crosse. The beer is a hazy orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Grassy hops aroma with some earthy notes. Medium body with flavors of citrus, grassy hops and malt. The finish is hoppy with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.
