12oz bottle. Deep cloudy orange brown color. Great malty sweet piny, slightly astringent hop aroma. Thick half inch head. Big malt and hop profile. Piny and resinous hop taste, which works quite well with the moderate ABV. Full of flavor and very drinkable, this is my kind of IPA.

Small white head. Barely translucent dark brown body. Burnt coffee aroma with pine needle notes. Dry-sweetish intense burnt coffee taste with burnt grainy notes. Thinnish body. Dry burnt chocolatey coffee aftertaste. Very, very nice. Harmonic and balanced. (0.65l bottle from BMI.)

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye, this stuff is great. Pours thick with small, but thick, off-white head that goes. Aroma of bourbon barrel, chocolate, vanilla, and slight hint of cherries. Cherry shines throught in the taste. Cherry skinds, chocolate, barrel and a touch of sour. Syrupy with light bubbles.

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy orange to brown with a fully gone head. Aroma is dense barrel wooden aroma with a mild dried fruity note. Dry malty and wooden flavour. Solid malty to solid wooden flavoured with a distinct warming note. Spiced and acidic finish. Too overwhelming for my taste.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grass and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with noets of caramel, leading to a dry finish where notes of caramel and straw lingers around. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle: Deep amber pour with a thick & creamy beige head. Rich bourbon aroma, almost a bit overbearing. Some faint malt. Tastes is sweet and malty, caramel, bourbon, a bit of dark fruit. Smooth. Still a bit much on the ba notes. Probably will age well if the bourbon fades. Different flavor from the standard y2k, but equally enjoyable. Sidenote - as it warmed the ba subdues a bit and the flavors blend together better.
