Description
We brew beer that is distinct because we believe that moments together call for something memorable. It could be our Midwestern roots, or the land we draw inspiration from, but crafting the right beer for the right moment is central to us.

Bottle: Deep amber pour with a thick & creamy beige head. Creamy sheets of lacing. Fruity and caramel in the nose, also a bit sweet and bready. Tastes malty with some vinous fruit. Sugary and sweet, some light citrus bitters. Then it seems as if the tail is more of a floral bitter. Standard transition as it warmed, very drinkable. Thanks pepsican.

Hazy dark brown beer - smells like watered-down coffee and chocolate pudding - kind of hot alcohol - a lot of coffee and very sweet chocolate, tootsie roll-like flavor - a bit of burnt sugar, some odd earthiness - meh - I think I’m done with central waters.

Dark reddish brown beer, with a minimal head - quite a tart aroma, with strong cherry and oak, and a mellow but present bourbon character - fairly tart and mildly acidic, with some light notes of chocolate and dough - very mild oak - subtle but spicy alcohol - much more tart than I expected, but decent.

Fizzy dark copper beer, with a few soapy bubbles at the top - aroma of syrup-soaked cherries, brown sugar, a bit of vanilla - the flavor is quite similar - starts out quite sweet and fruity, followed by some rolled oats, caramel, fig, date - finishes with some hop bitterness and alcohol warmth - a little bit of grainy character in the end - reminds me a bit of bigfoot with some age on it, but lacking a bit of that beers character - still nice, though.

Dark brown, cola-looking beer - quite a roasty aroma, with touches of brown sugar, caramel, and dark fruit - medium-bodied (light for an imperial) - quite roasty, with strong coffee and tobacco bitterness - toffee sweetness arrives later, with some fruity notes - a lot of burnt sugar and caramel popcorn in the finish - a little spicy alcohol in the finish - more like an imperial porter, but a fairly tasty one

No hops on this beer, appropriate for the style. Grain in the aroma and flavor. Some earth, grass, and dirt. Light brown color. Good, thich head. Bitter grain finish. A very dry beer. The earthy character is unusual and not bad, though not better than average. Thanks to Skyview for sharing.

Sample at the Most Honorable SuperHappyFun Stout Tasting. Thanks to MIBRomeo for the trade! This beer is a dark brownish-black color with a medium and foamy beige head that recedes slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of rich malt, bourbon, oak and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of malt and butterscotch, bourbon and dark fruits. Lightly bitter hops and coffee in the background. The finish is roasted malt and butterscotch with a lingering coffee and vanilla aftertaste. Very good overall.

Courtesy of Gillard. That guy Gillard ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
Pours dark brown with tan head. The aroma is like sticking my nose over a cup of coffee. I also get some roastiness and burnt malts. The flavor has solid coffee goodness along with some sweet and mildly roasty malts providing some seriously tasty balance. The experience lightens up into the finish keeping up the tasty tastiness.
