Description
The Wild Beer Co was born in 2012 out of a love of fermentation, barrel-ageing and most importantly, flavour. We believe exceptional brewing stems from imagination and passion. Our beers are brewed using modern creative techniques and ingredients while producing some of the world’s oldest beer styles guaranteed to give you a memorable drinking experience.
Curious bought Wild Beer Co out of administration in a deal that involved the beer brands and intellectual property of Wild Beer Co, but not its Somerset-based brewery production facilities. The Curious and Wild Beer Co businesses were transfered into the hands of St Peter’s in 2023.

Simple but tasty aroma of mostly cucumber, some gherkin, lactose and creamy notes. Flavour is medium sour. This delivers the goods. Quite refreshing, would love to drink this again on a hot summer day.

Aroma of tropical fruits, grass, floral notes, subtle funk, light resin, fresh hops. Flavour is medium bitter. Killer Brett IPA. However, I’m guessing my sample was on the fresh side rather than aged. I would love to find out how this ’evolves’.

Can at home. Aroma of lots of tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, orange, grass, shitloads of hops. Flavour is lightly sweet with a medium to heavy bitter finish. Body is medium, mouthfeel is nicely thick and smooth. Incredible balance and great drinkability. One of the best IPAs I’ve had.

Bottle at home. Aroma is whipped cream, cocoa, lactose, malt, powdery milk chocolate, lots of caramel, vanilla, fudge. Flavour is sweet. Remarkable body considering the low abv, masterfully brewed. Great balance and drinkability, quite amazing dessert beer. 2016-12-10 from cask at In De Wildeman as part of the "Real Ale Days". Actually a lot less impressive than the bottled version, has a weaker body, less refined. No, bottled is much better.
