Keg at The East Hill, Wandsworth. Nil aroma. Gold. Medium frothy white head. Light bitter, with a sour edge. Some chewy umami action but this is all post pay day curry. Thin. Watery. Fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. Passable. Forgettable.

Hackney Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Clear deep amber beer, small yellowish tan head. Palate is smooth and has just modest carbonation. Thin tangy dark malts, oxidised. Tangy ripe fruits. Tangy finish. Still some flavour here but the beer is clearly very tired.

Bottle shared in London - picked up somewhere in London a few years ago. Pours clear ruby with a bubbly, off-white head. The nose holds dried, leathery berries, toasted malts. Light sweet flavour with subtly tangy, leathery berries, some wood, damp earth. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with some leafy bitterness, more old leather. So so overall.

Keg @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Blonde with a head and a carbonation. It’s wit styling is more obvious in its nose than taste, but is noticeable we enough in the latter, fused with a hoppiness. Crisp drinking. Banana in its aroma.

Keg at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 11/05/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon rind, straw, light herbal notes, grains. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light white pepper, grass, hedgerow, herbal tones, light bread dough, faint yeast tickle, vanilla essence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing enough drop .... fine for the style.
