Keg at the Euston Tap , East Lodge, 10/02/17. Rich murky chestnut brown with a well appointed beige cap. Nose is dusty hops, toffee, light spice, sweet tunes. Taste comprises caramel, tropical fruit esters, airy malts, toasted brown sugar, sticky bins, light pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. Decent.

Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. Deep gold in hue with a thin white head. Light peachy tropical fruits up front set against a dryish oaty background with a mildly bitter finish. Pretty average stuff, needs a bit more oomph all round.
