27th Jan 2020. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, our first ever 'no alcohol' tasting. 39 different beers, we managed 26 before we bloated ourselves out, this was beer number 20. 330ml bottle; BBE Jun 2020. Black bodied, tanned head. Malty aroma and taste, more 'Ovaltine' than heavy roasted maltiness. A little sweet in nature too.

Overactive off white head left tight bubbles on a hazy pale golden body. Zest, pith & hoppy aroma. Medium to thin bodied, sharp on the palate with a clean back. Grapefruit, pithy, citrus, lemon & hop tastes with a fading finish. Not a bad 0%

This one had a fine and quite inviting aroma. So I hoped it would be ok to drink. Quite wrong….. Very waterish. Felt like a dull lemonade Hmmm…some of the na pilsner are more tasty than this one [Bottle from RAA Brewing in Råde, Norway]

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 0.5% (legally alcohol free). Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Very nice aroma of citrus, esp. lime. Thin mouthfeel as expected. Dry flavour, plenty of hops with a distinct bitterness. Definitely the best beer of the Nirvana range.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 0.5% (practically alcohol free). Very pale golden colour, small and thin white head. Moderate aroma of citrussy and piney hops.
