Bottle at ChrisO’s Great and Powerful Pre-GBBF Tasting - Are You Scottish Edition (London, 2013). Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Aroma has a bit of rubber. Medium sweet flavor, lightly astringent, with straw and caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with light bitter citrus. Meh.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The nose is bready, earth, sweet dough, light toast, fruit cake and dried apricot. The taste is hay, straw, spice, dried fruit, apricot, fruit cake, light mouldiness, sour bite and some alcohol with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Not a hug fan of that mouldy edge to it. So-so.
