[ As Battledown Sunbeam ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, earthy, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, earthy, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130815]

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Chestnut with a ring of white head; fruity aroma; fruity caramel taste; then lightly bitter; with a biscuity finish - and a touch of citrus. An OK bitter.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild peachy and crisp citrusy hoppy. Bitter, smooth fruity and light citrusy. Lingering crisp hoppy finish.
