Pint at the royal hop pole Twekesbury. I was put off at first by the pump clip, what do you call this when ordering, Cheltenham spa porter? Battledown Porter? Stout Porter Ale? Overall confusing. And I think it’s reflected in the beer. Not a classic porter for me. Dark almost black body with tan head. Light aroma, and a taste that is a touch watery.

Pint from the Royal Hop Pole Tewkesbury. Colour is amber with off white head aroma and taste are typical of a bitter, but there is a but too much acidity for me.
