Description
We are Grey Trees, we are an independent brewery based in South Wales, UK. We produce a range of award winning beers and offer both a retail and wholesale trade service. We supply directly to our customers as well as to pubs, bars, and restaurants across the UK.
The name, Grey Trees, comes from the English translation of the village where the brewery was born, Llwydcoed. After a successful first few years, we moved the brewery to a larger premises, breathing new life into an old industrial unit in Aberaman, Aberdare. Although our location changed, everything involved in making the very best crafted ales stayed the same, even the local fresh Welsh water source.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 17 May 2023) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, citrus and biscuits. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, caramel, citrus and a balanced herbal/citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Rich, tasty and well balanced, with a fresh hop presence. Very nice.

Cask. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, citrusy, some mild bready notes. Flavour is citrus, some floral and mild earthy and grassy notes. Simplistic, but yet very drinkable golden ale.

Straw and some bitter herbal thing. Odd, like some Jagermeister spilled in here. But just a bit. Golden pour with decent head. Crisp finish. Tap at Tiny Rebel Cardiff.

Fin bitterhet men litt underkarbonert.
