Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/3/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of stone fruits and a touch of citrus hops. Flavour had a touch more sweetish fruit and biscuity malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/3/2017. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of caramel, leafy hops and a touch of root ginger. Flavour had a touch more sweetish fruit and malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish with some accompanying ginger warmth. Fine.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day two, 10/08/16. Pale golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is melon, harsh citric notes, grassy, herb. Taste comprises more harsh citric tones, bitter orange, straw, grass, light bread, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter close. Overly bitter for style in a harsh way.
