Deep ruby color, steady beige head. Aroma has chocolate and toasted malts. Medium-bodied. Caramel, some vegetables, nutty, coffee and chocolate, late bitterness. Very typical Dutch bock.

Bottled. Hazy deep ambery brown colour with a small beige creamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some caramel, toffee and a bit of alcohol as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some spices, a bit of alcohol as well as quite bready with some mild burnt wet wooden notes as well. Some slight nutty notes towards the finish.

Bottled, medium sample. Slight hazy color, medium white head. Aroma is sulphury, bit dusty, grainy malt, slight spicy hop. Medium bitter taste. Interesting brew.

Thanks bierkoning! Hazy pinky-amber color, small off-white head. Berryish-fruity aroma, hints of blueberries. Light-bodied, active carbonation. Flavors of yeast, some berries. Some tartness/acidity. Light fruity-sweetie finish. Quite plain and similar to other blueberry beers. That berry doesn’t work very well with beer.

Draft at Arendsnest. Pours hazy light brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of burnt malt, smoke, caramel and some dark fruit behind. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with smokey bacon crisps finishing in the palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at PINT BBF’13. As Gramsbarger Dubbelbock, ABV 7.5%. Dark brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma of canned garden peas, caramel, roasted malts. Flavour also has garden peas, roasted malts, caramel, roasted bitter finish. Medium-bodied. This was off, hope to re-rate soon.

Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts intense malty, grasy, more and more sourish-fruity, altogether with quite alcoholic notes. Quite unbalanced. Not good!

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, citrus and light spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. High carbonation. 121013
