Cask at gbbf 2013. Amber red colour with a halo of white frith. Aroma is metallic and stale malt. Nutty. Flavour is slightly meaty autolysis? Faint hop.

Cask at EBF XV, 08/08/13. Mid black with a thin tan head that clears to a pond. Nose is big on roast, liqourice well evident, dark chocolate, coffee notes. Taste comprises burnt toffee, brown sugar, roast malt, light tar, touch of chocolate. Medium boded, fine carbonation, sweet dry finish. Nice porter.

From cask at EBF15. Pours hazy dark brown to black witha small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and liqourice. Bitter and liqourice, roasted malty. Bitter and crisp liqourice. Smooth liqourice and bitter finish.

Cask at the Bird-in-Hand, Knowl Hill. Pale amber with a scummy white head; malty aroma; immediate dtrong fruity bitterness, then some dry biscuity malts; and a pleasant floral bitterness to finish. Good stuff.
