Cask @ 24th Egham Beer Festival. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor with hints of cranberry flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel fiish with weak hints of cranberry.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Golden amber with a tight cream head; fruity malt aroma; sweet malty taste with an immediate strong resinous bitterness; then some tart fruit and bitter caramel to finish. Well balanced.

Cask (Maidenhead Inn JDW, Basingstoke) - Copper red in colour. Fruity and earthy aroma with berries and raisins. Fruity taste with raisins, blackcurrant, cocoa and caramel.

Cask at the 24th Egham Beer Festival. A darkest mahogany colour with a chestnut gleam and a tight beige head; sweet fruity chocolate aroma; and a soft fruity taste with a chocolate malt body; and sweet chocolate finish with a touch of cranberry sourness.

From tap. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, dark malty and liqourice. Bitter, fruity hoppy, dark roasted malt. Breadish and tofee. Mild liqourice. Mild mineral note. Roasted and dark malty finish.

Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours lightly hazy deep brown with a decent beige head. The nose is earthy roast, chocolate cake, toasty grain, creamy, earth, chocolate ice cream and fruit cake. The taste is smooth, toasty, grainy, cocoa, charred wood, leather, earthy roast, creamy and coffee with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great condition. Balanced and quaffable.

[ As Longdog Kismet ].Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity, light to moderate yeasty, sharp. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, fruity, citrus, vomit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140807]
