On tap at Chuck’s Seward Park, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is decadent, with complex bourbon barrels, some toasted oak, vanilla, and dark sugars. Flavour is very complex and elegant, with a wonderful bourbon barrel character, restrained dark sugars, some toasted oak, light vanilla, and gentle roast to hold it together. Fantastic blend, very smooth and cohesive palate. Wonderful.

Bomber, 2025 vintage. Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a thin ring of lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, chocolate and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with caramel, vanilla and bourbon flavors. Simple, but elegant bourbon barrel stout. Wonderful!

16 oz. can, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Nose is full of bright grassy hops, herbaceous notes, maybe a touch of spicy Saaz, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is herbaceous and slightly spicy in the hop department, indeed seeming more like a helles-influenced Czech pils, with plenty of grassiness and herbaceousness, and a crisp biscuity malt. Bright, clean, well-hopped. Very good, but not an elite Czech pils.

Light gold body with white head. Light sweet aroma. Sweet taste, rather too sweet for anything but a dessert. Light sweet finish.

Pint can. White grape aroma with notes of berries, lemon, diesel, onion and pine resiny hops. Pours clear golden colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with white grape, berry and onion flavors. Finishes quite dry with lemony citrus, diesel and dank pine resiny hop flavors. Well done West coast IPA.
