Bomber, 2024 vintage. Rich chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt, caramel, cherry, burnt sugar, molasses, vanilla, oak and bourbon. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a finger thick ring of lacing. Starts with rich chocolate, roasted malt, molasses, cherry and caramel flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with burnt sugar, vanilla, bourbon and oaks flavors as well as a soothing warming booziness that settles nicely in the belly. Fantastic.

22oz from our Festival of Dark Arts 2026 trip with Josh. Aggressively poured to decrease the carbonation @ Ryan's.
Aroma: American oak, brown sugars, a bit fruity.
Taste: along the same lines, char notes from the bourbon barrel, moderate body, a bit of spice from rye barrel.
Overall: decent.

Dark brown. This has a bourbony, fruity aroma. On the palate, there's fruity depths, with a nice spicy note, lots of char. It's lightish for the style but also got a lot of complexity. It's intense, lots of dark malts and a massive barrel.

From Good Times Oakland, 2025 edition.
Pours what appears to be pitch black, small tan head of foam after a vigorous pour, good retention and lacing.
Smell is Bourbon, red wine, roasted malt, chocolate, pitted fruit, hint of licorice. Quite inviting.
Taste is roasted malt, Bourbon and Red Wine, dark pitted fruit, leather, and plenty of alcohol, which is very warming.
It feels full bodied with light ish carbonation, I would drink this again. No problem.

22oz @ Alex's.
Aroma: fruity, a mix of barrels. I would say this feels more like a port barrels.
Taste: along the same lines, lots of barrels, baking spices, dark fruits, and a lot of char from bourbon barrels.
Overall: is it complex? Yes. Is it perfect? Not really, unfortunately. Still enjoyable.
