An aggressive pour (is required to get rid of excessive carbonation) from 22oz purchased before attending the Festival of Dark Arts 2026 @ SF shared with Brian and Phill.
Aroma: toasted oak, some sweetness and maple barrel.
Taste: along the same lines, brown sugars, moderately sweet, nice barrel character.
Overall: good one 👍

Can (11/20/25) from Whole Foods, Sherman Oaks. Lightly hazy, bright yellow, nice sparkle, decent head with good retention and soapy lacing. Aroma is strong pink grapefruit, orange, pine, musky herb/slight cat piss. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth, creamy, frothy texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste with light bitterness. With these hops, I was skeptical that this would be West Coast and not hazy/juicy but the brewery masterfully achieved what it set out to achieve, along with good complexity. Not my preference but tip of the cap for being well crafted.

Dullish with a slight haze. Quite pale. No head. There's a bit of orange on the nose. On the palate, it's fairly bitter, again an orangey character. The malt character is a bit light. The hop could use a bit more brightness.

16 oz. can, pours a mostly clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals that Tangier upfront—almost a cardboard-like character to the hops (without being stale)—with some melon in back and dry bready malt. Flavour is definitely dominated by the Tangier, revealing a dry, pithy, citrusy, cardboardy character, with a touch of melon. That Tangier ruins everything for me. Not good.

Gold body with white head. Citrusy hop aroma . Hoppy taste with citrus, berry and evergreen notes. Hoppy on tongue finish. It's back

473mL can. Pours hazy blonde with a white head. Allium and citrus pith on the nose. Flavour has plenty of allium, some cardboard-like citrus pith, and notes of tropical fruit. I am not a fan of this, the Tangier and Citra are not doing this any favours.
