Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear gold beer, no head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Cereal pale malts, modest malt cream. Some lemony citrus on the back end is nice but this is mostly a cereal strewn mess.

Cask gravity at The Two Halves Margate. Clear brown amber colour lasting beige head. Amber malty flavour. Dry grassy hop finish. Sweet amber malt flavour. Light biscuit flavour. It's fine but more a malty amber than a session pale ale.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is quite soft, fresh, fragrant, bready malts, candied lemon and a touch of sugar. The taste is dry, bitter, grassy, straw, lemon peel, zesty lime action and a touch of pepper. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty simple stuff. Easy – going, but forgettable.
