Description
Opened in September 2014, Bexley Brewery produces good quality real ales.

We aim to brew beers that are distinctive with a range of interesting flavours for you to enjoy.

We use the best quality English malted barleys alongside traditional Kent grown hops & some amazing ones from Australia, New Zealand & the USA to produce beers of exceptional flavour and aroma.

Cask at Lock & Barrel, Bromley. Aroma had citrus and stone fruit. Bless gold. Frothy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Citrus edge. Soft peachy finish. Herbal edge. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Enjoyable gold... well the pump clip actually says Pale Ale....

Cask @Treefolk's (Rome). Dorata, un filo torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note di malto, biscotti, erbaceo, terroso, una punta di diacetile. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con chiusura amara leggera. Corpo esile, carbonazione soft. Anonima.

Cask at the Dartmouth Arms, London on 2nd November 2021 as Bexley’s Own. Clear coppery amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Caramel malt aroma with pungency, leafy hops and a slightly lactic note. Sweet malts and sour fruits in-mouth, and a complex finish of herbs, grasses and sweet maltiness. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Norwich Beer Fest: Poured a dark brown black with a tan head. Aroma is rich roasted malts, boozy, rum. Taste is roasty malts, boozy, rum, spicy.

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 25 Nov 2019) Reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel and red fruit. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toffee, red fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with smooth mouthfeel. A slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear BF 2019. 5.5 clear russet colour lasting beige head. malty. raisin. light spice finish. a bit xmas pudding. I liked it as a premium bitter. good.

[ As Bexley Howbury 25: Table Beer ( Mosaic, Motueka & Kazbek ) ].
ABV: 3.1%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, cookie - biscuit malt, pale malt, light grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, light grass - floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191204]
