Cask at Bakers Vaults, Stockport. Pours golden yellow with a small scummy off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly malts with hints of hops (good) and cabbage (bad !). In the mouth there is a brief sweetness before it is flooded out by bitterness. Has quite a juicy texture. Flavour has floral hops, citrus and tangerine with traces of winegums and honey coming later. Finish is somewhat dry. This lies somewhere between reasonable and decent.

Cask at Bexley Beer Fest. Aroma has berries and dark chocolate with black coffee and spice. Murky black. Frothy foamy beige head. Flavourwise we have espresso, charcoal and spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable standard Porter.

Cask at Bexley Beer Fest. Clear amber. Frothy foamy translucent white head. Aroma is malty and then has a gluey fruity streak. Peripheral bitterness ducks it's head down. Sour. Berries and citrus. Followed by a grainy bitter streak. Underlying earthiness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Just doesn't do it for me... the components don't quite work.

Cask at The Plume of Feathers, Greenwich. Gold look. It's exactly how a golden ale should be - slightly sweet and a grassy bitter ending. Still, not very exciting.
