On cask at Coach and Horses in Dronfield - clear gold body, good lacing white head. Grassy taste, little bitterness at the back. Nothing special.

Cask @ Founders Hall, Manchester. Slightly paler clear golden with a head. It's quite a robust hoppy brew through a notable dryness, but a gritty taste too. Perhaps most settled in its hoppy aroma.

Bottle from Booths. Hazy ruby body with a thick beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisin, treacle and toffee. Flavour of caramel, prune and woody malt. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Rich and complex. Loved this.

Bottle from Booth’s. Bb 11/25. Reddish brown with a beige head that fades to a fat coat. 3+ Nice if shyish aroma of dried fruit - raisins, prunes, some fresh plums too - some roasted malt, citrus, some spices. Tauter than guessed with roast assisting the transition from dried fruit to bitterness.

Oldham Beer Festival 2024. Dark clear glowing amber. Caramel mild, and these malts are very tasty, slightly grainy, and the brew is easy drinking.
