Hand-pulled pint in the Railway Tavern, Newport, Shropshire on 11th January 2024. Slight haze to the golden body, lasting white crown. Think this was the last pint out of the barrel, so it wasn't as crisp or fresh, should of taken it back I suppose, but it wasn't 'off' or 'bad', just a little 'sad'. Decent enough blend of flowery fruit flavours and a semi-sweet malty trace, dry finish.

Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized cream head and good lacing. The aroma has roast malts, nuts and a hint of bacon. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a fruity texture, a little bitterness creeps in later on. Flavour is mainly roasted malts but with some blackberries and lime coming through to lead to a sweet finish. This is quite nice, but perhaps a little on the sweet side for me.

Gravicask, half pint, shared with Finn at St Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2023. Bright amber coloured body, scattered lacing from a film-type layer. Dried fruity aromas with leafy hops, promising. Taste of mid-sweet cereal malts and leafy hops. Moments of bitterness to the ending. Decent (St Albans, 27.09.2023).
