Description
After starting on a small scale in 2012, the brewery increased to a commercial size and moved in 2014 to Ford, near Littlehampton. After a successful Crowdfunding round, work commenced in 2020 to move the brewery to much larger premises in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

Cask at the Tiny Tavern. Pale golden colour with a white head. Light fruity and slight sweet. Medium body.

28/7/2023. Cask at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear golden brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, orange, citrus, biscuit, spicy notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Drying finish. Quite nicely done.

28/7/2023. Cask at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear golden amber brown with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, malt, toast, light spice. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. It's fine.

28/7/2023. Cask at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is malty, caramel, biscuit, straw, husky fruits. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness, worty/biscuit notes. Moderate body, oily and watery, average carbonation. Odd bitter taste to finish. Fair.

Not really sure what this is supposed to be. Neither looks nor tastes like a Brown Ale but is nonetheless quite distinctive. Would probably call it a strong light mild in a blind tasting?

Cask at the Newark Beer Festival 2023. Deep amber colour with a white head. Malty and light bitter. Slightly thin.

Cask half at Three Cups, Bedford. Pours deep brown with a ruby hue, beige cap. Aroma: malt, nuts, chocolate, coffee hints. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, malt, creamy chocolate, with a light sour note. Medium body with fine carbonation.

Cask at Devonshire Arms, Burton on Trent. Pours almost clear amber orange with a cream cap. Biscuit malts, citrus, hoppy with a decent bitter finish. Medium body with fine carbonation. Decent cask tackle.
