Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Brownish gold and clear with a small muddled off-white head. Scent of seawater, salted caramel, TCP. Taste is astringent and sweet/salty. Long medicinal finish. Thick oily flat body. This is traditional to the fucking core, a good beer in ways but hard to get through the entire pint.

On tap (cask) at The Angel, Bicester, Oxon Thursday 12th May 2022, in the company of Lynn, Barry, Splash, Dawn, Nina and Terry. Pours amber with a white head. Some orange tangled up with earthy hops, a polite bitterness and biscuit maltiness. Pleasant moutheel, there is a fruitiness that sits at hedgerow mixed with orange citrussy, dryness at end. Not an IPA but nonetheless a decent enough twiggy effort.
